What is Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy?
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that support your bladder, bowel, and uterus. Weakness or dysfunction in these muscles can lead to various issues. Pelvic floor physiotherapy involves:
- An internal and external assessment to determine the strength and function of your pelvic floor muscles.
- A personalized exercise program, which may include Kegels, but often involves much more complex coordination and strengthening exercises.
- Education on bladder and bowel habits, posture, and lifestyle modifications.
Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools to manage your health with confidence. We provide a safe, private, and supportive environment for all our patients. Contact us to learn more about our women's health services.
